Wide area electromagnetic method is an electromagnetic exploration theory and method proposed by Academician He Jishan of Central South University. Compared with the traditional electromagnetic exploration method, the wide-area electromagnetic method has obvious advantages such as large detection depth, high detection accuracy, strong anti-interference ability and high work efficiency. "Large-depth high-precision wide-area electromagnetic exploration technology and equipment" won the first prize of the 2018 National Technology Invention.

In 2019, our company's Laguhe Gold Mine in Xiahe County took the lead in the province to use the wide-area electromagnetic method for geophysical prospecting.
